Tim Thorne

Tim Thorne, who lives in Launceston, is the author of 14 published volumes of poetry. He has conduced poetry workshops in schools, prisons, universities and numerous community organisations. For 17 years he directed the Tasmanian Poetry Festival. Among his recent achievements are winning the 2011 Christopher Brennan Award and the 2014 Gwen Harwood Poetry Prize.
